I found on the site FAQ that this fix was fixed in Build M6, so I installed it. I was thinking maybe the problem has come back into the builds.

The older version had a Windows installer, maybe it is a good thing to look for Windows Installer based releases?

This version however requires an older JDK, so I decided to download and install version M08, or lower versions, until I could get it to work

The reason for all of these errors is that my server-based installation of apacheDS ie the LDAP server, is probably not supported yet in the latest version of Dir Studio, so I am going to use a nightly build of the latest DIR Studio

I then found all was OK with the latest nightly build as of 03-05-2016
